Lights Out

Today is the most wonderful day ... Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Thank you Mr. Electricity man who broke the pole that held the transformer that powers where I work and got me an early out for this beautiful, sun shiny day! I am in your debt ... At least until tomorrow. What say you to doing it again?

Well that's a stroke of luck - the only time something similar happened to me, was when I was at school, working in the computer labs - and managed to trip far too much stuff and kinda blew up a substation. Whoopf.

No more school that day.

I spent today asleep.

Hmmm ... A whole day asleep?

I'm wondering if it was good I just need my rest sleep or I'm still feeling quite poorly sleep?

It was more of a "forgot to sleep when the sun did" sleep.

Got up at 5.30pm :S

Should really go to bed now as I've got to get up early-ish, possible Star Wars watching. But am not yet anywhere approaching tired. Bah.

While I am teaching Electricity now, I did work in the construction field for 28 years. There were many "TPTBW" days.

I was working on a Meijer Super store one particular first sunny warm day of Spring. I began gathering up my tools at 11:30 and putting them away. My foreman asked me what I was doing. I told him it was a TPTBW day and I was leaving. "TPTBW day?" he enquired.
"Too Pretty To Be Working day," I replied. He thought I was kidding, until I disappeared out the door and drove away.

Some days just demand to be enjoyed completely.

I find it's the days that are "too awful to work" that are the ones that require leaving early. ;)

Either that or the well known "bed too comfortable to work" days. :)

I could have used another one of your TPTBW days today. It was gorgeous out there.

If they need a president for the bed too comfortable to work days, consider me volunteered.
