He seemed like such an ordinary squirrel, and yet ... There was something strangely fascinating about him.

Yaay!!! I love squirrels! Aren't they the most lovable, obnoxious little rodents in the whole world? When I was little and lived up North we had a pet squirrel named Chippy that would come and eat out of our hands every morning. If you want so great entertainment, tie a string between two trees and then suspend a treat from it. They are ingenious, somewhat clumsy, and always hungry. Perhaps I was just bored at the time but I seem to remember thinking Robin Williams couldn't hold a candle...

After I got sick and tired of having to put my feeder back to rights once Buddy was done breaking into it, I finally came to the conclusion that it would be far easier for me to just give up and feed him - though he later turned out to be a her ...

Having learned my lesson, I now have a permanent Squirrel feeder right along with my bird feeder.

:)

Hmmmm ... Better than Robin Williams?

Squirrels are quite cute, though they are sneaky little thiefs too!

We have some squirrel-proof feeders for the birds, the squirrels have their own feeders all over the place.

Hope Olivia gets better soon Bren, sounds concerning. :S I'll cross my fingers for her. (Once I've stopped typing.)

Bren ... I thought you said you were going to call me ... You know, charge up your phone and all that.

Sorry to hear Livvy is still not feeling well. But am glad to hear you took her to the Dr.'s before things could get much worse.

Although I'm a bit concerned that little miss light as a feather isn't eating. I will have to call you later to find out how the bloodtest went. Poor bear.

It's no fun to be feeling ill, even worse when it's on a holiday. (That looks like Christmas, but isn't. What happened to your spending - one basket only - control we talked about?)
