Matt stopped by earlier with a bouquet of yellow roses in one hand, and red in the other. In dress uniform, he kneeled before me, pulling a black velvet box from inside his jacket, as I stood there shivering in the cold, dark night.
"Marry me," he said. "You're the woman I've been searching for my entire life. And now that I've found you, I promise I'll never let go. You are my sunshine, my only sunshine ..."
It was if the world had stopped. But there was only one thing I knew how tosay ... I mean what else could I say but "YES!"
So we're engaged ... It's going to be a short engagement due to the bun already being in the proverbial oven, but still ... the maid of honor position is still open if you're interested.
Wedding is at five tomorrow ... Be there or be square. Bring presents!
And for God's sake, don't wake me from this dream! And don't tell Martin that it's all my fault either, cause you were so egging me on.
