It's no wonder I became a shutterbug at such an early age ... (Now if only my Mom would explain the haircut and my obvious lack of curls.)

what's wrong with the haircut?... and there are no curls cuz we (you and I) were both tired of frying your hair with perms...the camera set-up was Gramps (RIP)...remember how he always used the phrase - "that's the cat's pajamas"? Funny how liitle things stick with you - he really enjoyed you at that age and that saying has become part of my strange vocabulary...

Because everyone thought I was a boy ... And I've been permanently traumatized from the experience. :)

At least I have some of my curl back (naturally) now ... I need a haircut though.

My dad does tons of photography stuff, we have all the darkroom developing gear here, or at least did when I was that age. I can just see me standing behind a tripod like that. :)

Oooh. Yet to learn the art of developing my own shots, but someday when I'm not rich and/or famous, I'd like to gain the know how.

There's nothing better than a good picture.

Agreed. There are so many in this house, I really must digitize them all at some point, but that could take years. Argh.

Mind you, the world can do without my childhood photos.
